Edith is a professional and compassionate lawyer with a focus on family law, wills and estates, and elder law. Edith went to law school in Australia, where she not only finished her law degree but was also called to the New South Wales bar in December 2009. To begin her career, Edith practiced as a criminal lawyer with the Aboriginal Legal Services in Newcastle, New South Wales. Edith then went on to practice children’s and family law with NLS Law and decided then to focus on helping families.
In November 2010 Edith came back to Coquitlam, BC because she wished to be settled here with her young family. Edith was called to the British Columbia bar in May 2014. Having practiced law in two law firms, opportunity came to start her own law practice in 2016, Nova Law Corporation. After practicing on her own for almost seven years, she decided to join Clark Woods LLP.
Edith is a punctual problem solver and instrumental in providing effective solutions to clients in very difficult and highly stressful situations. From the moment you come see Edith, she endeavours to learn about you and explain the law in a professional and clear manner. She believes that court should be the last resort and works for her clients to avoid litigation. However, over the years Edith has successfully represented many clients in the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia.
In her free time, Edith spends time with her family. She loves to crochet and recently discovered junk journalling. Everyone in her family gets a crochet gift for Christmas whether they want it or not. Edith also loves sci-fi, and has watched Doctor Who many times over.
