Scott Johnston

Scott brings over 23 years of practical and common sense business and real estate law experience as a solicitor advising clients on corporate/commercial (incorporations, shareholders’ agreements, non-competition and non-disclosure agreements, employment and contractor agreements, and corporate reorganizations and rollovers), share and asset purchase and sale transactions, mergers and acquisitions, licensing, franchising, commercial real estate development and subdivision, site development control covenants, leasing, conveyancing, mortgages, and secured lending matters, including acting as approved counsel on behalf of chartered banks and credit unions in respect of commercial loans to borrowers.

  • Actor in the Arts Club Theatre/Touchstone Theatre/Carousel Theatre productions of 10 Lawyer Shows, including lead roles as Pseudolus in A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum and Mortimer Brewster in Arsenic and Old Lace, all performed at the Stanley Theatre and the Waterfront Theatre to raise funds for local charities, including the Canadian Bar Association (BC) Benevolent Society, the Alzheimer Society of BC, and the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
