MEET THE TEAM
Amy Kodsi
Amy earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where she received the Law Students’ Association Award in recognition of her outstanding extracurricular involvement and contributions to student life.
During law school, Amy was actively involved in the legal community. She served on the executive of the Law Students’ Association in several roles, including Vice President, Community and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Chair. She also volunteered with Student Legal Services in its Civil and Family Law Project, where she provided legal information and assistance to low-income members of the community.
Amy served as Marketing Director for the University of Alberta Law Show, leading promotional initiatives that increased engagement with the annual student-run production, which raises funds for local charities. She also worked as an editor with the Centre for Constitutional Studies and as a teaching assistant for a first-year law course.
Before attending law school, Amy completed a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology with Honours at the University of Manitoba. Alongside her studies and early professional experience, she was involved in community-focused work supporting children and families in Winnipeg’s inner-city communities.
Outside the office, Amy enjoys hiking with friends, film photography, exploring local restaurants, reading, and keeping up with the latest movies and reality TV.
