LEGAL COACHING
Legal Coaching for Family Law Matters
Representing yourself in a family law matter can feel overwhelming. Legal coaching provides administrative and procedural support to help you understand the steps involved, stay organized, prepare your documents, and navigate the process with greater confidence.
At Clark Woods LLP, our legal coaching service is designed specifically for self-represented family law litigants who want practical support while continuing to manage their own matter.
WHAT IS LEGAL COACHING?
Procedural Guidance When You Need It
Legal coaching provides practical, administrative and procedural support to individuals representing themselves in a family law matter.
Rather than taking over or representing you, your legal coach works alongside you to help you understand the process, prepare and organize documents, keep track of important timelines, and prepare for the procedural steps involved in your matter.
You remain responsible for your case and the decisions you make. Your legal coach helps you stay informed, organized and prepared as you navigate the process.

WHEN YOU NEED LEGAL ADVICE
Coaching and Legal Advice Serve Different Roles
Legal coaching focuses on the administrative and procedural aspects of managing your own family law matter. It can help you understand the process, stay organized and prepare for the steps ahead, but it does not include legal advice, legal strategy or representation.
When a question or issue requires legal advice, strategy or interpretation of the law, Clark Woods LLP’s family lawyers are available to provide assistance through a separate consultation.
This means you can continue managing your own matter with procedural support while having access to experienced family law counsel when legal advice is required.
