Harry attended law school at Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, British Columbia.
During law school, Harry became a published author and had his Indigenous Law paper published in the Sovereignty Symposium, the foremost publication and gathering on legal matters related to the indigenous community. Harry’s paper discussed the mistreatment of indigenous women in the health care system, and he won the second-place prize in the Chief Justice Doolin Writing Competition. Harry also volunteered on the Elections Committee and hosted a weekly show on the T.R.U. student radio station.
Harry practices primarily Family Law, Employment, and Civil Litigation. Harry has achieved success as a well-versed litigator in both, the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia. Harry has conducted trials and has attained successful outcomes for clients in highly contentious matters.
Harry attended a 4-day family law trial in which he successfully attained weekend parenting time for an applicant mother whose child was subjected to an intolerable living environment with the father. Harry also successfully argued a child abduction matter in which the mother had removed the children from B.C. and left for the United States for nine months without notifying the father. Harry obtained an order to return the children to B.C. and be reunited with their father. Harry also obtained an order requiring the mother to surrender the children’s passports to the father.
Harry is well versed in all family law matters. This includes matters involving parenting time, child support, child protection, child abduction and relocation, property division, and spousal support. Harry also specializes in carefully crafting marriage and separation agreements to suit his clients’ individual needs.
Harry has also set aside a default judgment for a client under the Judicial Review Procedure Act. Harry has advocated for clients before the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, Civil Resolution Tribunal, and the Employment Standards Tribunal. Harry takes a compassionate approach and provides clients with efficient and cost effective solutions as they navigate through their legal matters.
Harry was born in North Vancouver and raised in Surrey. In his free time, Harry enjoys listening to his favorite podcasts, star-gazing, playing hockey, and watching his beloved Canucks. Harry is fluent in Punjabi.
