Clark Woods LLP was thrilled to sponsor the Women’s Open Premier travel team Venus FC on their remarkable journey to Spain over the March break. The club competed in the Valencia Cup, where, after a series of intense matches, they made it to the finals and narrowly lost 4-5 in a dramatic penalty shootout.

Success in the Valencia Cup
Under the guidance of head coach Dehara September, Venus FC had the honour of playing friendly matches against two top-tier clubs, Valencia CF and Atletico de Madrid. These games were held on the professional grounds of each club, providing valuable experience for Venus FC players.
Additionally, the team benefited from a specialized training session with UEFA A coaches from Atletico de Madrid, further enhancing their abilities and gaining crucial insights.
Creating Opportunities on an International Stage
The primary goal of this trip was not only to compete but also to create opportunities for the club to showcase their talents on an international stage, said September. The coach added that Donya Hashemi had been a standout player and received an official invite from the professional team Levante FC to attend a week-long trial.
